Cultivating rhythms for your journey as an apprentice of Jesus
Dallas Willard believed that God is more interested in who you become than what you do. Since the early church, followers of Jesus have discovered that spiritual practices are essential for nurturing an intimate relationship with Jesus and participating in God's work in the world.
We all need to be intentional about cultivating rhythms in our everyday lives - frameworks that support our growth as apprentices of Jesus (a term Willard often used). For Wayfinder Leaders especially, this intentionality is vital.
Because each person is unique, there's no "one-size-fits-all" approach to spiritual practices. Different seasons of life call for different practices, offering us opportunities to explore and grow. However, there are also timeless, classic practices - like silence and solitude - that serve as the foundation for any spiritual journey.
A year-long journey through The Art of Missional Spirituality
You'll have the opportunity to engage with 31 different spiritual practices drawn from The Art of Missional Spirituality, a book by Jeremy and Monica Chambers. This resource offers guidance for weaving meaningful spiritual rhythms into your daily life.
In 2025, we'll journey together by exploring one new spiritual practice per week. Once a month, we'll gather as a community to share our experiences, reflect, and encourage one another.
